Looking forward to February

I'm looking forward for Feb not only because my birthday is in February but it happens also be the exact same date when PGL - The Musical opens at Istana Budaya. I'm definitely planing on attending the play but I don't think that I would be able to get tickets to the opening show. It would be a nice way to start my 33rd year on this Earth but I guess I could try to get tickets for opening weekend instead.

A truly Malaysian musical spectacular comes to life in vivid sound and technicolour this February 2006 at Istana Budaya

A heart-rending tale of unrequited love Puteri Gunung Ledang the Musical is a veritable feast for the senses. A moving tale of two hearts that cannot become one; adding depth and drama that will surely become a classic of the 21st century.

It presents a musical extravaganza that can only be experienced live. Fusing the old with the new, the result is a contemporary, enthralling show with a distinctly Southeast Asian flavour. Contemporary ethnic beats and cool choreography combine to provide a spectacular experience that will keep audiences glued to their seats.

Tickets available at Istana Budaya, Kuala Lumpur.

The guy playing Hang Tuah is kinda hot, doncha think ?!! ;-p

Though, it remain to be seen whether he can carry the role well because of the language barrier. I don't doubt he's a good actor as he was previously in Bombay Dreams. But, I kinda freaked when I heard they cast a pan-asian to play the role. I mean, can you imagine a pelat Hang Tuah ?!!!! LOL !

I guess that you could say that Stephen Rahman - Hughes is hot ... not really my type though.

I've always wondered why they don't get M Nasir to reprise his role from the film. He has done the stage and a good vocal artiste in his own right.

I hope that the 'pelat London' is not too noticable :p

I heard M. Nasir could not do the musical because of a schedule conflict. You would think he wanna keep his role that was obviously tailored for him, right ?!!!

Hhhmmm, what is your TYPE then ?? Enlighten me, please. ;-p

My type ... the unattainable ones that are way out of my league.

I an ashamed to admit that I have a weakness for "model-look" Malay guys and the gwailos that look like they could have walked out of an "Abercrombie & Fitch" catalogue.

Hey, we all dream of the unattainable, right ?!!!

Me, all I'm looking for is a cute face. Though, it's subjective. What's cute to you may not be cute to me. ;-p

Too true. I for one am baffled by the fascination with the "kampung" look and rough trade :p

To each their own preference be true.
